Our preventative Maintenace helps keep you heating and cooling systems running properly all season long by giving the system a full checkup and finding problems before they become major issues. Our Maintenace checklist includes
Check Filters
Check and replace customer supplied air filters to keep the system running cleanly and with proper air pressure
Check wiring
making sure that all electrical connections are tight helps prevent shorts that damage other components
Check Thermostat
making sure your temperature controller operates properly will keep you comfortable in your home
Check Amp draws
makes sure motors, and compressor are operating and drawing the correct power
Check Temperature Split
checks incoming and outgoing temperature to make sure the system is cooling properly
Check Drains
clear drain to keep system draining properly
Check Refrigerant Pressure
makes sure your system is properly charged and cooling optimally
Rinse Condenser
removes debris such as grass clippings and dust to keep system running optimally
Heat Pump
heating is typically the same Maintenace as cooling, in addition to checking the backup emergency heat.
Furnace
Check Filter
and replace customer supplied filter if needed
Check Safety Systems
makes sure that the furnace turns off when there is something wrong with the heating system.
Check blower motor
Check to see that the system is pushing heat into the home properly
Check temperature split
Makes sure that the furnace is adequately heating the home
Check carbon monoxide levels
makes sure that you do not have a crack in the furnace leaking toxic gasses into the home.
Clean Flame sensor
keeps the sensor clean to let the system know that it is heating.
Check Inducer Motor and Vent
Makes sure system is expelling harmful gasses outside the home
